Tasks & responsibilities

  • As a Senior Automation Manager, you are responsible for the development of general strategies for automation systems in our BioNetwork delivering highly reliable but flexible and economic solutions well adapted to our internal customer’s requirements.
  • Your responsibility includes the analysis of general developments in the automation area as well as the interpretation of compliance, data integrity and IT security aspects to optimize our concepts. You gain direct feedback through the exemplary implementation of these concepts in real plants.
  • Your tasks include the joined development of a general Biopharmaceuticals automation systems landscape and the transfer of resulting concepts to support all sites within our BioNetwork.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for planning and realization of projects, concerning time, budget and quality, to ensure sustainable systems and flawless product launches.
  • Supporting other sites with regard to first-time implementation of complex concepts or in larger projects to transfer know-how and strategies belong to your further tasks.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Master’s degree in automation engineering or comparable qualification
  • Long-standing experience in design, planning, implementation and operations of process automation systems are required
  • In-depth experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and manufacturing IT and OT technologies
  • Additional industry experience in biopharmaceutical technology as well as strong market background in a fast-growing market is natural for you
  • In depth knowledge of project management skills especially in resource management, activity planning and cost estimation and good understanding of compliance requirements in a cGMP Environment
  • First leadership experience is beneficial
  • Strong team player and you like to work in multi-disciplinary global Teams
  • Fluent English with good communication and presentation skills as you are asked to act in an international working environment
