Dornier Seawings is a thriving Start-up creating are solution in amphibious, all composite airframe flying boat with secured funding of over USD 300 million from Chinese investors. We are a highly energetic and ambitious team, who value outstanding talent, serious creativity and elaborate innovation.
Tasks:
- You are defining the aircraft avionics system, by generating input for the internal design team as well as for external system suppliers, such as sketches, block diagrams, hardware definition and specification of software requirements.
- You are coordinating external supplier activities for the aircraft avionics system.
- You are validating detailed design data during document and drawing checks.
- You are verifying compliance of the avionics system with certification requirements during laboratory, ground and flight tests.
- You are providing input for and checking compliance documents and participate in certification reviews with certification authorities.
Requirements:
- A bachelor or master degree in electrical or aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
- Experience with aircraft avionics system integration and certification per EASA CS23/CS25 and CS-ACNS
- Knowledge of EASA Certification process as well as Certification Requirements applicable to the avionics system
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language, German language is a plus.
