THE POSITIONWould you like to play a key role in the transformation of Global Development at Boehringer Ingelheim and shape change with a high degree of freedom? The position offers you a generalist role in Global Development in a diverse, intercultural and international team. It also provides high visibility and the opportunity to dive deep into the company and get to know it as well as network.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Acting as a change agent and advisor for agile ways of working, you plan and implement agile frameworks and practices.
• In your newly established, high-performing teams you enforce self-organization, transparency, and efficient product development flows.
• You remove impediments in daily business and protect your teams from outside interference.
• Preparing and facilitating team events is also part of your new profile.
• You support the sourcing of external Agile Coaches and oversee their work.
• To foster the continuous improvement of our target operating model, you keep abreast of latest developments in agile working and utilize derived insights.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a field related to (computer) science or business with a certification as Scrum Master, Kanban Management Professional or comparable qualifications
• Several years of experience in working as an Agile Coach, leading teams in an international data science or pharmaceutical environment
• Ability to apply and teach agile values, principles, and practices
• Ability to guide teams towards solutions. That includes being able to frame discussions and to make meetings efficient and valuable
• Expertise in identifying and analyzing performance problems on individual, team and system level and thus supporting solutions through the identification, briefing and involvement of key stakeholders
• Ability to guide individuals, teams, and the organization through change on a large scale (transformation) as well as concerning small incremental improvements (evolution)
• Understanding of non-clinical development and data science processes paired with the ability to advice at the level of development practices
