Tasks & responsibilities
  • In your new role, you are part of our outsourcing team which supports Boehringer Ingelheim´s drug development programs with bioanalytical services at external contract research organizations over the entire field of non-clinical and clinical studies.
  • You will assume full responsibility for coordinating and supervising external analytical work packages as Scientific Monitor / outsourcing manager including method development, method validation, specification settings, method release, stability testing, method transfer, cross-validation, and authoring of regulatory reports with a technical focus on mass spectrometry of NCEs (New Chemical Entities).
  • You act as primary contact for external CROs and manage bioanalytical outsourcing packages with respect to defined timelines and in compliance with scientific, technical, and regulatory requirements (GCP, GLP).
  • As team member for our NCE development portfolio projects, you work closely together with interdisciplinary development teams.
Requirements
  • Doctoral (PhD) or Master (MSc) degree with major focus on Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Sound background in analytical sciences including the scientific and technical aspects of bioanalysis of small molecules in complex biological matrices
  • Expert in mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), preferably in the regulated GLP and GCP environment
  • Professional experience in outsourcing of bioanalytical work packages is highly desirable
  • Organizational talent, process-oriented thinking and acting as well as ability to take elaborate decisions
  • Team player with a spirit for innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills towards international project teams and external partners in English
